Description
I have pale swallowtail (Papilio eurymedon) eggs available, from California.
Price: $10/dozen + $11 shipping. PayPal via the "Friends and Family" option.
Hostplants: in the wild, this population mainly uses various Rhamnaceae, especially coffeeberry (Frangula californica) and perhaps sometimes ceanothus (Ceanothus) and buckthorn (Rhamnus); in captivity, they grow well on various cherry/stone fruits (Prunus) and apple (Malus). Many P. rutulus hostplants, including ash (Fraxinus), bigleaf maple (Acer macrophyllum), willow (Salix), and alder (Alnus), are also accepted in captivity but growth may be poor or suboptimal (try at your own risk).
