Cocoons / pupae of Automeris randa, direct from habitat in Arizona. The largest Automeris in the USA. Emerging in June/July of this year. Large caterpillars. Keep cocoons at ambient summertime temperatures in an emergence cage out of direct or indirect sunlight. No special treatment required. Misting, spraying is not necessary, but will not harm them.
HOSTPLANTS: Oak (Quercus), honeylocust (Gleditsia), ​locust (Robinia), cherry, apricot, plum (Prunus), apple, pear (​​Malus), blackberry (Rubus), hackberry (Celtis), and many other plants.
