Dear all, we offer Samia ricini eggs from a very nice strain. These eggs are from the largest European captive reared Samia ricini line, that we have called Samia ricini XXL. Adults are very large and wingspan can reach 16cm. Their viability is also improved compared to other S. ricini strains. Samia ricini, the Eri silkmoth, is a very easy species to rear in captivity, suitable for the winter season. It can be the source for valuable silk fibers
