PUPAE of SPHINGICAMPA (Syssphinx) HUBBARDI direct from habitat in Arizona and reared from multiple females. Spectacular caterpillars. Easy to pair, easy to rear, easy to overwinter. Keep pupae completely dry and cool. Do not store outdoors. Do not refrigerate. Do not freeze. Emergence in June-July.
HOSTPLANTS: honeylocust (Gleditsia), powder puff tree or mimosa (Albizia), black locust (Robinia), most Acacia including invasive Australian species, mesquite (Prosopis); catclaw (Mimosa), feather acacia (Paraserianthes), leadball tree (Leucaena) and many other legume trees and shrubs.
