Hello. I am offering F0 eggs of Argema mimosae from Kenya from 2 witnessed pairings.

Foodplants: Schinus sp, Pistacia lentiscus, plenty of other Anacardiaceae, Prunus, Eucalyptus, Liquidambar
This is definitely a challenging species if you intend to complete a cycle from egg to egg or pupa to pupa. I've bred this species a long time ago and decided to give it a try again. Rearing the larvae is moderately difficult. The larvae need constant humidity and temperatures of around 25°C, especially until 3rd instar. Hatchlings need to drink water when they hatch. They sure look more alive after drinking and almost double in size. The big challenge is really getting the adults to emerge from their cocoons in synchronized periods and getting adults to pair.
