ANNOUNCEMENT, Identification

ANNOUNCEMENT
Description
Dear Entomology community
I’m currently working in Vietnam on Hitpage plants and have collected an insect that I could only identify to the family/order.
I’m seeking help to determine the genus or species.
I’ve attached photos and collection data. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Short describing:
The stem-borer

The larva has an opaque white to pale yellow, segmented body. Short white setae are sparsely distributed across the entire body surface. The head is dark yellow, equipped with well-developed and strong mandibles. Thoracic legs are present but only moderately developed. The larva bores into the woody branches of H. aptera. Frass and wood debris accumulate within the galleries or are expelled through boreholes. The boreholes due to this insect species are round-shaped.

Thank you very much for spending time to read and check!
Best regards,
Xuan Mai
